   Steppe Art Running Stag Brooch

   A very nice brooch of the Steppe culture - 1000 B.C., in the shape of a running stag with developped wood. The stag or deer is a frequent ornament of Steppe Art.
   The steppe people constitute a link between Chinese culture, whose neighbors included the Ordos, a steppe people, and Western early medieval art, especially
   through Hunnic and Alano-Sarmatian invasions of Roman Europe.

   Dark oxydation of the silver-rich alloy, and geological remainings. Pin remaining.

   From a renowned Paris Auction House, has been reviewed before the sale by experts in the field.
