   A Roman molded terracotta group depicting two nude figures (lovers ?) playing, on an integral decorated base.

   The figure on the left is holding a bird, other are extends to the other figure who is holding her arm and kissing her wrist.

   Material : Terracotta, Surface slightly weather worn otherwise intact, holes
   Provenance : ex.New York auction sale, ex.US collection
   Origin : East Mediterranean, perhaps Romano-Egyptian
   Dimensions : H. : 11,5 cm
   Period : II c.A.D.
