Roman Military Carriage Horse Element

 

 

   This lovely bronze is a fitting for a military chariot / carriage. In the shape of Pegasus, the mane in the style of parade horses,
   this bronze mount was probably attached to a wood element.

   Fair patina, a leg is broken and hold with a metal element.

   Material : Bronze, fair patina
   Origin : Eastern Europe
   Period : Roman, I-III c.A.D.
   Dimensions : L : 6 cm - H : 4,8 cm
