Roman Marble Foot
 

      
 

 

   Nice Roman marble statue fragment - foot with an elaborate sandal (sandalia), similar to the type worn by Augustus on some public statues.

   The marble shows several traces of coloration - the piece is restored from two fragments, a hole in the leg show that the foot was re-attached to the statue.
