Greek Terracotta Head of a Lady

Fine hellenistic terracotta head from a large figure, showing nice classical features : inexpressive face yet vaguely melancholic and pensive. With a very thin veil on the back of the head. Perhaps from a figure of a goddess, presumably Aphrodite. Nice conservation. Lacks and chips in the hairs. Mounted on a wooden stand.
