Etrusco-Corinthian Painted Alabastron
 

 

 

   Fine Etruscan-Corinthian potteries with animal scenes, typical of Etrusco-Corinthian art of the Archaic perid (VI c.B.C.).

   Alabastron painted and engraved with four registers of birds and rosettes.
   Significant wear to the scene (see pictures), else good conservation. Unrestored.

   Material : Terracotta, engraved, painted in brown and red
   Provenance : ex.Paris auction sale, ex.French collection
