Elegant Etruscan "bucchero nero" ceramic calice cup. The bucchero nero, an Etruscan ceramics technology, was invented by the Villanovian culture and mastered by Etruscan crafstmen. It is said that the deep, brilliant black luster was intended to imitate metallic vessel. The calice shape is associated with libations. Restored from several pieces, lip restored, some breaches visible.
