IV c.B.C. Daunian ware high-handled jar
 

      
 

 

   A decorated pottery olpe, bulbous-bodied, flat, wide rimmed mouth and high, wide strap handle.
   Cream ground with a painted brown pattern of concentric bands with geometric elements.

   Though produced in Magna-Graecia, the vase is painted in native italic style.

   Rim chips, shard reattached to rim, earthen deposits, encrustation, otherwise intact.
