A very large brass alms dish typical of Nuremberg South German production of the late 16 - early 17 th. century.
The raised central boss with a plain roundel surrounded by embossed petals. It is surrounded by an inscription The detail is somewhat worn out. On small crack in the cavetto. Pierced one time. Ex.Drouot auction sale, Paris.
