Medieval Will on Vellum, 1324

   A very large, complete medieval document on vellum. This is the will of Bertrand Guillaume de Clairmont, signed 13 april 1324.

   The first letter, or lettrine, is adorned by a beautiful drawing. The document is written in latin. An original wax seal is still attached to the document
   by a hemp strip, also dating to the XIV c.

   In this will, Bertrand Guillaume de Clairmont, living in Donzelle (near Perigueux), establishes his sons Berard and his daughters as heirs.
