Medieval pilgrim hexagonal badge - XIV-XV c.
 

 

 

   Medieval pewter pilgrim badge. A pendant in shape of a small hexagonal box.

   Inside the frame, a small pewter plaque with a Saint or holy bishop (holding a crozier ?), giving benediction to a small figure on his right.
   The reverse is made of a small hexagonal plaque of reflective material, perhaps mother-of-pearl or a cristalline stone.

   Near complete, suspension loop missing and a part of the pewter box missing.
