Medieval Limoges enameled buckle-plate with Warrior

A Limoges buckle plate with a secular scene, a warrior running to the left.
Holding a large shield to protect himself, the warrior seems to be wielding what looks like a bow, although shield and bow do not fit together so well.

The shield is filled with nice red, blue and yellow enamel.
