Early 18 th c. Study of an allegoric woman figure in Clay
 
 
 

Displaying fine technical skills, this bozzetto, or study for a figure of a woman draped all'antica is probably allegoric, standing on clouds, near a vase.
Arms and heads missing make it difficult to identify. The posture is close to Diana figures of the 17 th c. and 18 th c. The pouring vase may indicate an Hebe figure.

The thin tunic is close to the body, while the veil is agitated by the wind.

Visible lacks. Heads and arms missing. Wood stand not included.
