17 c. Ivory Virgin Figure from Dieppe
 

               
 
 

   This nice little Virgin and Child in ivory is typical of the production of Dieppe, France, in the XVII c.
   It has a gentle, provincial flavour. The model is still close to XVI c. Virgin figures.

   Very good conservation. The crown of the Virgin is missing.
